JÜRGEN LINGL Germany

Jürgen Lingl is a German sculptor celebrated for his powerful and expressive wood sculptures that blur the line between realism and abstraction. Born in Bad Tölz, Bavaria, he began drawing and painting at a young age and pursued his early artistic education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. After moving to France in the late 1990s, he fully dedicated himself to sculpture, developing a distinctive and dynamic style that quickly drew international attention.
 
Today, Jürgen Lingl lives and works in southern France. His work is held in private collections and exhibited in galleries throughout Europe and beyond.
